2011-2013 Postdoctoral Fellowship, Vascular Biology/Exercise Physiology, University of Missouri. 

Dr. Nathan Jenkins is a sports nutrition coach with Renaissance Periodization, LLC and a former professor of exercise physiology at the University of Georgia. In his academic career, Dr. Jenkins directed a cardiovascular physiology research lab, taught classes on exercise, metabolism, and cardiovascular disease, and contributed ~85 publications to the scientific literature.  With RP, he specializes in nutrition coaching for clients who primarily follow the CrossFit training methodology, although he has extensively worked with the general fitness population and specialists in a variety of sports/activities. Dr. Jenkins is passionate about teaching clients the fundamentals of nutrition and helping them apply that information to their lives and build lifelong sustainable habits in the area of nutrition.
